The Black Hole

This image shows the same black hole cartoon character in a variety of poses. The character is a round black circle with a pair of thin arms on each side with balls for hands. They have two half-circle eyes, gray eyebrows, and a small blue line for a mouth. Across the top we see the black hole in four different poses, first looking down, then looking up to the right, then straight ahead, and finally up to the right again. The second row has four more poses, first looking way up, next looking ahead but rolling their eyes, next looking to the left, and finally looking straight ahead with one arm raised in a wave. Finally, the bottom row shows the black hole, this time each one is surrounded by a swirl of oranges, depicting an accretion disk. Extending upward and downward are a pair of white cones representing jets of material that can be formed in the region of a black hole. In the first, the black hole is looking straight ahead. In the second, they’re looking down to the right. Finally, they’re looking straight ahead again, but this time they have a dot near their center and a dotted circle around them, depicting the singularity and event horizon, respectively. There is text below each image with a couple of words or a phrase describing each pose.
Honestly, all this black hole wants is to be left alone. But, if that's not possible, it at least hopes that any visitors can keep a safe distance. This character is aloof and a bit too cool for the rest of us, but it's ultimately friendly and willing to help people learn more about black holes.
