Suzaku

This illustration shows the Suzaku spacecraft in shades of blue. The long body of the spacecraft is narrower at the top than at the bottom, which has a hollow area underneath. Suzaku was a space satellite that studied sources of high energy X-rays like supernova explosions and black holes. The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency developed the mission in collaboration with Japanese and U.S. institutions, including NASA.
