Euclid will investigate some of the biggest mysteries in the cosmos. Using two instruments, a Near-Infrared Spectrometer and Photometer with NASA-supplied infrared detectors and a visible-light camera, Euclid will work to understand dark matter and dark energy by measuring the expansion of the universe and the distribution of dark matter over cosmic time.
