Training Opportunities
We offer
Afterschool Universe training workshops throughout the year, in locations around the United States. At the end of the training workshop, participants receive a copy of the Afterschool Universe Program Leader's Manual. Those who commit to running the program for our intended audience receive access to our password-protected "Implementation Resources" page where you will find ppt presentations to provide additional background for the program leader, downloadable files, worksheets and evaluation forms. We will also provide a NASA certificate of completion for those who participate in our training.
Training workshops are also being offered in New York State through a partnership with the Department of Astronomy at Cornell University. Please check their website for more information if you are interested in attending training workshops in New York State.

We will make special exceptions for those who can demonstrate a compelling reason for why our training is not necessary. If you wish to apply for a waiver from training, please complete this form.
