AU Ambassadors

AU Ambassadors are trainers who are not necessarily associated with a particular afterschool network and can be “free agents.” They will have the ability to travel to any location that requests a training workshop.

The AU project team will support the AU Ambassadors in 2011 and 2012 to conduct training workshops. We will also promote their availability as trainers. We have found that several afterschool locations are able to pay for a training workshop and our expectation is that the AU Ambassadors will build a network and tap into those resources after two years so that they may continue training workshops after the end of this project.
